Sunshine Candles

Thank you for stopping by! I hope that you have had a chance to check out my latest jar creations and scents. I have recently changed my jar making process so you will note a brighter white and / or brighter colours for my concrete jars. I have also applied three coats of Earth Safe sealant to the inside of my jars and two coats on the outside and I have been very happy with the results. I use the highest quality fragrance oils from Village Craft and Candle. They are phthalate free – better for you and the environment. Likewise, my candles are locally poured in small batches using 100% organic soy. The crackling wood wicks are from FSC certified wood.

I find that wood wicks create a cozy ambiance, however, wood wick candles can be a little temperamental…. when lighting your candle for the first time, you may need to “prime the wick”. Quite often, the wood will light and then go out because the wax is not fueling the flame. Simply take a tissue, break off and discard the charred wick, and then light again. The candle should stay lit once the soy is also being used to maintain the flame.
